The happiest place on hearth!
We have had a lot going on these past couple of months, so when things get a little too crazy we head to "the happiest place on earth." Michael calls it "Mickey's house." DisneyLand has made a lot of fun new memories for our family.

Michael loves going on rides and climbing so much, so it is the perfect place to let lose and just have a whole lot of fun!

This kid needs speed!! He is defiantly going to be the roller coaster king, that is when he grows a lot more! :) He loves going fast no matter what it is.

Mini Flip books
Mini Flip books
I love these mini flip books I just had to show all of you. This is going to be one of my hubby's first Father's Day gifts. This is the books cover.

This is the inside of the book. I'm going to put pictures and journal on the squares and triangles.

My sister is making these to help pay for her missions trip this year to the Philippines. She is going to the city of Bacolod, that is where the Rosmarino family is. My sister has been called to go for a month and serve the Lord with her love for kids at their house. She is going in August, when I think about her leaving for a whole month I get super sad but then I have to remember this is what the Lord has called her to do. She is selling these super cute Mini Flip book's for $10.00, if you are interested in purchasing one please let me know. She can do just about any theme you could think of. Please keep her in your prayers.
Thank you,

Michael's delivery story
I woke up at about 12:45am thinking I had a really bad tummy ache. I thought about a hour later I wonder if I'm having contractions. I went to the computer and looked up "what is a contraction feel like?" I read all about what they were suppose to feel like, but they didn't hurt. It said to time them I tried but it was a little hard to do by myself. I finally woke my hubby up after being awake for an hour and a half. I told him I thought I was having contractions and could he time them for me. They got a little stronger, but still didn't hurt. He timed a few and started getting our bags in the car he told me they were 5 minutes apart and lasting about 40 seconds long. I took our puppy out to go potty and off we went to the hospital. We had a lot of fun on the way there, we were joking, laughing (in between contractions) and talking about our baby boy coming. When we got to the hospital I got into the bed an all hooked up, the nurse checked me and said I was at a 4 to 5. I got a big smile on my face looked at the hubby and said "sweet I'm half way there." Within the hour I had gotten the epidural, I convinced myself I wasn't going to stress out about the pain and just deal with it ( I HATE needles) but to my surprise I didn't even feel it!! So far so good!! The nurse came in and checked me again I was at a 6 or 7. I feel asleep for a little while and convinced the hubby to close his eyes too about an hour later the nurse came in and checked me again and asked me if I felt like pushing. I told her "I have a sensation in my bottom." She checked me said "you are ready to have this baby." Frank popped up and we got ready. I pushed for 20 minutes and the little man was born. He had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and that was the scariest few seconds of my life!! The look on Frank's face was a face I never want to see again!!! They got his lungs cleaned out and that little cry was the best noise I have ever heard in my life!!! Michael James McGuigan was born April 20th, 2009 at 8:20am. He was 8lbs 7oz and 21inch long. The awesome journey now begins!!

39 Weeks today!!
Hip...Hip...Hooray!!! I am getting closer and closer to having a little (my doctor said he is predicting Michael to be about 8 1/2 pounds... but that was last week) baby boy in my arms. I stopped working last Monday and wow what a difference that has made!! I have gotten to spend lots of time with family and friends and catch up on last minute things. We are now just playing the waiting game. I'm enjoying resting and nesting, I have heard from MANY people to enjoy the resting cause after he gets here thats it until he's 18. I will keep everyone updated on his status. Have a great week!!!

Almost there!
Frank and I went to a park to take our "belly pictures." I had the greatest time while my friend Bethany set up cute things for me to do and captured some really great memories.

Here are a couple pictures that were taken. I haven't gotten them all yet but I thought I would share a a couple that I got. I am almost 35 weeks along. I can't wait to meet my little man. I had a doctor apt today and he said if he had to guess Michael's weight right now he would guess about 7 pounds. Frank was 7 pounds when he was born and I was 6 pounds, so I was kinda hoping that would be the case with Michael. I guess we will see. :)

Valentines Day of relaxation.
I know this is a little late.... but this house is running a little behind!! :)
Unlike last year and our three hour disaster dinner we decided this year we would stay home together and organize Michael's room. We had a lot of fun cuddling and just hanging out the two of us. Frank brought home flowers, chocolate, a super soft teddy bear, and a really romantic card. It was a perfect day!

4D Pictures
This was probably one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my whole life!! My child in 4D. It was an awesome experience to witness my baby moving around in my belly up close. We got pictures a cd with pictures, a dvd, and a bunch of printed pictures. When I got home last night I watched the dvd and I just couldn't believe that was my baby moving around in there. Then when my hubby got home we watched it again and you should have seen the sparkle in his eye. When it was over he said "babe, we really are having a baby." I looked at him and laughed and said "really you couldn't tell by the baby bump that use to be my belly, and all those kicks you feel." I was teasing but it was so funny!! Here are some of the 4D pictures of our baby Michael.

Here is my little boy. So comfy and cozy in there.

We saw him open and close his eyes and his mouth several times, that was very neat!

I can't wait to see you in a few short months! Love you baby boy!!

Christmas morning
Here I am Christmas morning with the best gift my husband and I could have ever given each other.... Michael James McGuigan!! Things are really good here, we are both working a ton. The Lord is so good though cause we have a lot more time with each other than we ever have in our almost 10 years of being together. Both are job hours are really similar so it is such a blessing!! We have put almost all of the baby furniture together and are excited about nesting. Please continue to pray for us!
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Half way there!
I am officially 20 weeks today. I'm so excited and have really loved this whole process. I am still thanking the Lord everyday that I haven't gotten sick yet. We are having so much fun when we go to stores picking out a cute outfit. I haven't had any weird cravings yet but I will sure tell you what they are when I have them. For a while we couldn't have any seasoned chicken cause the smell of it would well.... make me not feel so good.
This is me and my mommy on Thanksgiving. I have a lot to be thankful for!!!

Me and the hubby on Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see him running around chasing and playing with Michael, he's going to be such a great dad!!! Love you sweetie peteie!!!

This is a picture of my and my sissy at Thanksgiving. I am defiantly showing now!!

Now that I am 20 weeks I am feeling Michael moving soooooooo much!!! I think there is a sports player in my belly. :) He hasn't started kicking to where we can feel it on the outside yet. Poor Frank every time I say he's moving and kicking he wants to feel it. I have reassure him that it will happen soon. Here is a little of what I have learned is happening in my 20th week.
You will notice that your baby is more and more active (often in the evenings), and may even be able to see some movements. The growing uterus is pushing up against your lungs and pressing your tummy outward. Your navel may pop out and stay that way until after birth. The baby is about 10 in (25cm) long. Sebum from the sebaceous glands mixes with skin cells and begins to form the protective vernix, which clings to the lanugo all over the baby's skin, especially on the hairier parts and in creases.
I love learning all kinds of different things about his growth and what he is doing in there. I pray that everyone is having a great week and just remember it's half way to the weekend so smile!!!!! :)

Talk about a crazy day!
So...... today started off like any other day. I woke up, took Dash (my doggie) potty and then jumped into the shower. I got ready for work, had some breakfast, kissed my hubby goodbye for the day and headed off to work. I got to work and sat down in my office and started going through my emails, started entering my purchase orders. Things were pretty busy all morning and I had a lot of work ahead of me for the day. Its is now 9:30am and something is starting to smell bad, almost like paint or lacker, then it started to smell a lot like gas. Of course I was the first one who smelt it, not surprising with my super sniffer!!! Then in the next half hour it got worse and i started to get light headed and when I stood up I saw spots. I told my co-workers that I was going to walk to the post office to mail some stuff and to get some air. I was walking by some of the building in our complex and a couple guys asked me if our bathroom and office smelt like gas and chemicals and I said "YES, I couldn't stand it so I'm walking to the post office." One of the guys quickly said "NO you cant go there cause they are doing construction work under the sewer and its worse over there." Then another man came walking up and said "they are pumping gas and chemicals into the sewer and its leaking into all of our buildings." I told Erica (a co-worker) I couldn't stay much longer with the baby and all I just couldn't be taking in all those fumes. She called our boss and he told me to go home, as I was leaving I saw everyone in our complex and across the street outside of their buildings. It was a bad smell!!! Maybe a half hour later Erica called me said the smell was a little better and I could come back if I wanted to. I was heading back to work when she called back and said "never mind don't come in the fire department just came and is telling everyone to go home." As soon as I left and smelled some fresh air I was feeling just fine. I now have all day to do what ever I want so I thought to myself what should I do and then a smile came to my face and I thought of the perfect thing!! I'm went and surprised my hubby at work. I got a full tour of the Cath lab and what he does and where he does it at. I met a whole bunch of his co-workers and saw some I already knew. Then we went to xray where he use to work and saw some old friends. Then we got to go have lunch together, it was so much fun!! I came home and started to clean the house from top to bottom. I'm having family over this weekend. Guess what?????? We are going to find out the sex of the baby this Sunday. EXCITING..... I know I'm so excited I can barley stand it!! I will have lots of pictures to share with you all Monday. I will announce our baby's name too!! Im so EXCITED!!!!
I hope everyone has a very blessed and safe friday!!

Im 15 weeks!
My growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). It's busy moving amniotic fluid through it's nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in it's lungs begin to develop. It's legs are growing longer than it's arms now, and it can move all of it's joints and limbs. Although it's eyelids are still fused shut, it can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, it's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but it is forming taste buds.
