Priceless!!!

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard; I could tell
from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was
well taken care of.

He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head;
he then followed me into my house, slowly walked over to the couch
looked up at me with big brown eyes, laid down and fell asleep.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.

The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot on the couch and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'

The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar: 'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 - he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?'

(Ok so the dog isnt old or tired he's actually my doggy but I couldnt get the picture uploaded that I wanted to use:)

Is that for me?

Well for the past year I have had a blast playing with my Aunt Mishels camera. I told Frank that I would love to have a camera like hers but never really thought he would get it for me. Well... Monday when I got home there it was sitting on my night stand waiting for me to rip the box open and start taking pictures. I was so excited you have no idea, he said this was my thank you gift for sticking by him through this whole process. Isn't he so sweet!! In high school I took 4 years of photography and loved every moment of it, that class I was always sure I would get a A+ in!!! I don't really like to read a lot but this manual and my cricut one have been the best books ever!!!! :) I can't wait to share all my pictures I take with my new camera.

Details

Yesterday was just a super super awesome day for us!! Thank you so much for all your prayers and support!! Here are some details about his job. Since most of you don't know how much of a scardy cat I am, I will just come out and say it. Im a BIG time scardy cat and don't like to be alone. I was praying so hard for the position that Frank got yesterday for that reason. The hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm. That is soooo perfect cause I work from 7:30am to 4:30pm. I never ever wanted to have to sleep alone. I know there are many women who do it, my cousin and my Aunt do it. The thought of sleeping alone scares me so much!! I think it all stems from when my father passed away. The feeling of being safe at night kinda just left me. I know that my husband is here to protect me but he sleeps so hard that Im scared he wont hear if someone breaks in. I know.. I know I should worry about these kinds of things, but Im human and I do. That is one of the bonuses the hours!!! The other is that it is Monday through Friday and then they take turns being on call during the weekends. That is just awesome!!!!!!! We spent about 8 years of our relationship not ever really spending holidays together and he always worked weekends. Have I said lately the Lord is good? Well..... he is he is he is!!! On top of all that this is a promotion, its not the job he was going to school for, it has to do with what he went to school for but its a couple steps up. They actually need 5 years of experience to even apply for this position, but they saw something in him. The Lord is good! He starts training Monday so that is really cool. Im just so proud of him and trusting the Lord had us in his hands the whole time!! Our next adventure that will start today is finding a place to call home!!! We have been looking and calling but now we can actually start going to places and get serious about it. We are looking at a place today, please pray for us and that the Lord will help us pick the place we are suppose to be in. If todays place isnt where we are suppose to be then just close the door!! Thank you again for all the prayers!!!

Busy busy week!!

Wow this week flew by so fast. I had something to do each day this week I cant wait for it to be Sunday! I have some super super exciting news!!!! Frank has an interview on Monday at 10:00 am. We are just really excited and trying to prepair as best as we possible can. He has never interview for a job before so he is a little nervous. If you can keep him in your prayers that would be wonderful. I have so much to do right now I shouldn't even really be on here , but I just wanted to say "thank you" to those of you who have been praying for Frank and I. Today we are going to a Dodger game and tomorrow I have my bosses 30th birthday party so I have to get back to cleaning and getting ready before Emma wakes up. Have a blessed weekend and try to stay cool!!

What kind of Cereal are you?

You Are Raisin Bran

You are the type of person who wants in all in life...

And to the surprise of some, you usually do have it all.

If something only serves one purpose, it's of no use to you.

While people may assume you are greedy, you really are just seeking balance.

Unsurprisingly, you want your breakfast to be both healthy and tasty.

Like with all things, you won't settle for anything but the best.

Missionary Trip to the Philippines

Aren't these dish clothes beautiful!?! I tell you I love them so much! They work a lot better than just an average sponge! Plus you can wash them and re-use them thats the best!! My mom and sister will be heading off to the Philippines in August with their church for a Missionary trip. We have been raising money for their trip in all kinds of ways. I have gotten really creative trying to help out. We had a recycling drive for them and a penny drive. That was a lot of fun. So many people that have come over to my house ask me "where do you get those dish clothes?" I told my mom you should think about selling them at church or at there garage sale along with the hand made cards. They were and are a hit!!

Here are a few that are going out soon. I have tried a few times to make them and I have to admit its just not my cup of tea. You put a scrapbook in front of me and supplies and watch out. :)
