Well.... Morning, afternoon and evening sickness just isn't any fun at all!!! I'm actually doing a lot better than I thought I would be since I have such a sensitive tummy. I am getting Nassau's very easily, my nose is already super sensitive so now it's just out of control. I feel like I have eaten so man crackers in the last few days that I'm going to turn into one! :) Does anyone have any methods that worked for them, I'm willing to try anything!

Prenatal Vitamins sometimes make things worse. I ended up switching to Flinstone Vitamins, and just taking two.
That was my doctor's recomentation. Another thing I found was making sure I always had a little bit of food in my stomach. Don't go any longer than 2 hours with out eating something. Don't eat too much either. Too full of a stomach can make you feel nausea too. Hope my suggestions work everyone is different.
Well, as you've probably heard before, I was very sick with both of your cousins--not much worked for me. During both pregnancies I had to take medication, it was so bad.
Sometimes sunflower seeds (the ones in the shell) helped. And remember Ashleigh wore those bands on her wrists...
My prenatal vitamins made me deathly ill. At my doctors recommendation I quit taking them and starting drinking SlimFast/Ensure for the vitamins for the first couple of months. He also wrote me a prescription. I don't remember the name of it but do know that it was also used for cancer patients taking chemo. It was a wonder drug!! He also suggested that I drink lots of Gatorade to keep my electrolytes up. This seemed to help with the nausea also. Good luck and just remember in the end it will be so worth it!! Praying for you to feel better!
Popsicles:) I lived on them for a few weeks. Don't worry, you'll get your appetite back soon & then you don't want to stop eating:)!! I took 2 children's vitamin every day also & had no problems with them. Congrats & it'll be here before you know it:)!
Hang in there, hon. This too shall pass...eventually. And then you'll move to the next stage. Outgrowing your clothes. And then feeling bloated. And then getting up in the middle of the night to pee. And then constipation. And then swelling. And then sleepless nights, cause you can't roll over, lay on your back, OR sit up in comfort. And then....it happens. And I'll not go into all that, cause I don't wanna scare ya. LOL

I liked sucking on lemon candies - something about that eased my nausea (and kept me from consuming an endless stream of blissfully bland carbs!!)
Hi Tiff,
Remember how sick I was with Elie, practically the only thing that worked was laying down in the complete dark...but as we all know that is incompatible with real life. So the wrist bands worked for me for awhile, crackers worked, my mom taught me that sucking on peppermint candies works too. And yes, like someone else said don't wait too long to eat and don't eat too much.
These are my doctor's recommendations...
-frequent small meals
-avoid strong odors
-seaband on wrist
-discontinue iron and vitamins
-ginger capsules 250 mg. 4 times a day
-Emetrol (use as directed)
-Teas
-Vitamin B6 10-25 mg. 3 times a day
Note: The following have noot been FDA approved for pregnancy but have been used extensively and are not known to cause birth defects.
-Unisom 25 mg. at bedtime and 12.5 mg. in the morning and afternoon
-Antihistamines: either Chlortrimetron 8-12 mg.
Benadryl 25 mg. every 6 hours
BUT ALWAYS ASK YOUR DOCTOR FIRST!
I love you,
Misty
