This was a pretty good weekend. I decided to get in the kitchen (no matter who was looking over my shoulder) and make some good food. My husband was pretty excited to say the least. We both miss our apartment so very much!!! I use to cook all the time. He loved coming home on his lunch break and seeing my in the kitchen with my apron on cooking a meal for us. I love love love to cook and thats something I don't want to lose. For those of you who don't know my father-in-law is a control freak and if he hears anyone in the kitchen he is in there on top of you watching your every move. It doesn't sound as bad as it is, but its a very hard thing for me to deal with. Imagine being a wife and cooking your husband a meal (weather its comes out good or bad) and you have your father-in-law over your shoulder telling you what you should and shouldn't do. I love him so much and I do appreciate his input once and a while, but not all the time and I need to learn on my own. My husband and I have very similar taste buds. The Lord definatly made us for each other!! My father-in-law can not understand how we dont like certian things he likes. His personality is a hard one to get use to but Im working on it with the help of the Lord. I decided Im getting in the kitchen and Im making dinner and dessert and if he comes in there Im just going to keep going and be excited to make my hubby dinner. Of course I always include my in-laws when I made dinner and they do the same for us. I made my Aunt Mishel's Italian Beef dip sandwiches, home made macaroni and cheese, baby sweet broccoli, and my cousin Ashleigh's famous (in our house its famous) chocoalte dessert. Im not sure the name of it, but let me tell you it is awesome!

It was a hit! Everyone loved it, especially my husband. He told me later that night how excited he is for us to have our own kitchen and for me not to be scared to cook. He told me that is one of his favorite meals in the whole world. My father-in-law even pulled me aside while I was doing the dishes and told me "that was a great meal kid." That comment and my husbands made my month!!! I can't wait to have my own kitchen and cook us a storm!!!!

He makes my heart smile!

This weekend we went to Arizona to spend some time with my Grandpa and Great Grandma. It was an interesting weekend to say the least. There were a lot of different emotions that went along with this trip. This March my Grandma will have been in heaven for two years. It was extra hard this trip cause my Grandpa recently got married and this now wasn't a home I was familiar with. Usually we would come running in the house looking for Grandma and Grandpa. Things have changed in a big way since my Grandma has been gone! Things were weird but I was polite and and I was a good grand daughter. We went and visited my Great Grandma and that was hard. She's all alone, only because thats what she wanted but never the less its still sad that she is alone. Please pray for her she has some big choices to make for her life in this next month. So with all the different emotions flying around this little guy always knows just what to do to make me forget about them for a time and just have fun playing with him! I am so in love with him! I am so amazed how the Lord knows just what we need and at the moment we need it the most!!!

A fun day at the park.

Today I decided that we needed to get out and play! With everything that is going on right now in my life a "park day" just sounded great. Right now as we speak there is a man cutting holes in my bedroom wall and bathroom wall. My beautiful paint job will have to be fixed. After getting a very large gas and water bill my husband and I convinced his parents there must be a leak. So..... after a year of telling them that the kitchen tile isn't suppose to get "HOTT" when you stand on it they agreed and got someone out there to look. What do you know we have a major major problem!!! All the pipes are rotted and there are lots of leaks. All of the pipes have to be come out and new ones have to be put in. We are still praying about weather we are going to buy a house or rent an apartment and "save" for a year. I say "Save" cause it feels like we are always saving but Im not seeing anything come out of that. I know I need to just be patient and see what the Lord has in store for us, but I honestly just want to know now. I know he's working in my life and my husbands in a big way. Please give us extra patience as May gets closer!! Back to the park, Emma and I decided that we were going to go have some fun at the park since today the weather was nice. She had such a blast, now that she's getting a little braver she is climbing a lot more. Today was a fun day!

Getting closer

May is only four months away. These past few months I have noticed my husband picking up my baby brother more and more. At first I thought it was he was just trying to help out (which he does all the time!) but then I started noticing him just going and picking him up for no reason. We had been teasing him cause my baby brother LOVES sucking on Frank's fingers. I will put mine by his mouth and see if he will go for it and no luck. Its the craziest thing in the world. I know the Lord is preparing him for father hood. It melts my heart to see a baby in his arms. We have been talking a lot more about kids and names and all that goes into being parents and it has been so much fun.

Being a sister is the Best!

Yesterday my sissy came down for the day. We had so much fun. The trip was mainly to get our Christmas shopping done and I have to say we did a great job! She got all her shopping done except a couple small things. I basicly had all my shopping done. Frank and I are doing stockings this year. I have a couple things for him, but I really want to come up with something really cool. Im hopeing the Lord will bless me with that perfect thought soon! We went to the mall with Emma, had lunch and shopped till we dropped. Literally we dropped when we got home (we missed Emmas afternoon nap) I made a bottle for Emma layed down with her and you know when kids miss their naps and they are so tired they just want to cry and scream? Well thats what happened. She didnt care that I knew what was best for her. After about 10 minutes of off and on crying she passed out. So did La La since she has been working two jobs and one is at the mall and with the christmas season they are working her to the bone. She takes a nap whenever she can get one. Then we came home picked up Frankie and went and got dinner. That was our fun and exciting day! I cant wait to see my faimly this weekend!!

Our dream home!

For those of you who don't know (all four of you! Hee Hee) we are house hunting. We came up to my moms on Sat. We had a blast went to my cousin Zach's music performance, went out to lunch with the Ferguson and Baker clan. Then Frank, mom, the girls, baby and I went house huntting. We went to go look at a couple different houses in the same community we had already looked at. We liked the two story the best. Then we went back up to Aunt Mishels checked out the new paint and furniture. I have to tell you its lookin beautiful!!!! So we hung out talked about all the different homes we looked at. Then at 10:30pm Frank and I drove back to Garden Grove. The next morning Frank said "babe you wanna go look at more houses?" Without hesitation I said" lets get ready." We got ready and got dash ready (yup we had to take the doggy" and we left for another trip out to the desert. We looked at a lot of different homes. There were two we really like but there was one that we both fell in LOVE with. We didnt tell each other how much we liked it until we were getting ready to go to the next home. I could tell her really liked the house when we were walking through it but it wasnt until we got outside did he really tell me how much he wanted this house! When we walked back to the office he said "maybe you should go get your camera." I knew in that sentence he was in love. For anyone who knows Frank, knows that sentence would never come out of him mouth unless he really meant it! I wont even tell you what I had to promise him just to get our family picrures taken. Here are a little facts about our dream home. Its in Beaumont (which is 20 minutes away from my mom) Its 3,157-3,468 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, living room, family room, kitchen and nook, 2 or 3 car garage. You have the option of turning the extra garage into a room and bathrom. I know it sounds like a lot and it is but its my "dream house" so thats ok. We are looking at a couple other ones but I just thought I would share with you I found my dream house! Please keep us in your prayers over the next 6 months. We will be looking at more homes, Frank will be graduating from his x-ray program looking for a job, I want to start an in home daycare. Lots of things we want to do pray that we stay focused and our eyes on what the Lord has for us.

Please keep us in your prayers!

We need a lot of prayer right now. There are some things going on right now that I cant give details. I just need to ask for your prayers and support! We know that we all need to trust in the Lord and he will take care of everything, but right now emotions are high. I pray that the Lord will shut doors that need to be shut and open doors that need to be opened and to guard out hearts.
