Being a sister is the Best!

Yesterday my sissy came down for the day. We had so much fun. The trip was mainly to get our Christmas shopping done and I have to say we did a great job! She got all her shopping done except a couple small things. I basicly had all my shopping done. Frank and I are doing stockings this year. I have a couple things for him, but I really want to come up with something really cool. Im hopeing the Lord will bless me with that perfect thought soon! We went to the mall with Emma, had lunch and shopped till we dropped. Literally we dropped when we got home (we missed Emmas afternoon nap) I made a bottle for Emma layed down with her and you know when kids miss their naps and they are so tired they just want to cry and scream? Well thats what happened. She didnt care that I knew what was best for her. After about 10 minutes of off and on crying she passed out. So did La La since she has been working two jobs and one is at the mall and with the christmas season they are working her to the bone. She takes a nap whenever she can get one. Then we came home picked up Frankie and went and got dinner. That was our fun and exciting day! I cant wait to see my faimly this weekend!!

Our dream home!

For those of you who don't know (all four of you! Hee Hee) we are house hunting. We came up to my moms on Sat. We had a blast went to my cousin Zach's music performance, went out to lunch with the Ferguson and Baker clan. Then Frank, mom, the girls, baby and I went house huntting. We went to go look at a couple different houses in the same community we had already looked at. We liked the two story the best. Then we went back up to Aunt Mishels checked out the new paint and furniture. I have to tell you its lookin beautiful!!!! So we hung out talked about all the different homes we looked at. Then at 10:30pm Frank and I drove back to Garden Grove. The next morning Frank said "babe you wanna go look at more houses?" Without hesitation I said" lets get ready." We got ready and got dash ready (yup we had to take the doggy" and we left for another trip out to the desert. We looked at a lot of different homes. There were two we really like but there was one that we both fell in LOVE with. We didnt tell each other how much we liked it until we were getting ready to go to the next home. I could tell her really liked the house when we were walking through it but it wasnt until we got outside did he really tell me how much he wanted this house! When we walked back to the office he said "maybe you should go get your camera." I knew in that sentence he was in love. For anyone who knows Frank, knows that sentence would never come out of him mouth unless he really meant it! I wont even tell you what I had to promise him just to get our family picrures taken. Here are a little facts about our dream home. Its in Beaumont (which is 20 minutes away from my mom) Its 3,157-3,468 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, living room, family room, kitchen and nook, 2 or 3 car garage. You have the option of turning the extra garage into a room and bathrom. I know it sounds like a lot and it is but its my "dream house" so thats ok. We are looking at a couple other ones but I just thought I would share with you I found my dream house! Please keep us in your prayers over the next 6 months. We will be looking at more homes, Frank will be graduating from his x-ray program looking for a job, I want to start an in home daycare. Lots of things we want to do pray that we stay focused and our eyes on what the Lord has for us.

Please keep us in your prayers!

We need a lot of prayer right now. There are some things going on right now that I cant give details. I just need to ask for your prayers and support! We know that we all need to trust in the Lord and he will take care of everything, but right now emotions are high. I pray that the Lord will shut doors that need to be shut and open doors that need to be opened and to guard out hearts.

Wicked

Last night my mom, sister and I went and saw Wicked. It was so so so much fun! The day started with a little drama but as soon as we gave it to God it got a lot better. Its crazy how the enemy works when your going to have a fun and blessed day with your family, but luckily we figured out what was going on and prayed, things got better really fast. I went and saw Wicked with my husband 2 weeks before and had a blast, but last night was a different kind of fun. First of all it was girls night out, and second when you get the three of us together its crazy fun!!!! The show was amazying and afterwards we went out back and got our playbills signed by the cast members and took pictures with them. It is definatly a night I will never forget. Thank you Mom and Laura for such a great birthday present!!!!!

The most amazing thing I have ever seen!

I was in awe of how the Lord has created our bodies and the amazing miricle of how he brings life into this world. My little cousin Ashleigh had her second son and she made it look so easy. I am so very proud of her for trusting in the Lord and knowing that she could do it with his help. I was so inspired by her faithfulness that I want to have a natural childbirth. I cant tell you how much I love that little guy. I catch myself looking down at him and then I cant take my eyes off him.

I just want to praise the Lord for his perfect timing. Thank you for closing all the doors that needed to be closed. You knew exactly what we needed and when we needed it!

Welcome baby Merritt!

Im so excited!

Last night i decided that i was going to start cooking more. Let me tell you why I don't, cause I want to! Frank's dad is a bit of a control freak and when he hears someone in the kitchen he has to go see what's going on. Then when he see's someone in there cooking he has to throw in his opinion. Which wouldn't be so bad but if you don't do what he says he gets upset or mad, kinda like what he says doesn't matter.
So lately I haven't been cooking cause I just don't need anymore drama in my life. Yesterday I just thought you know what I'm going to start cooking and thats that! I love it and I love cooking for my husband. I had so much fun cooking with my cousin Ashleigh and very good friend Bethany. I told Frank what I was thinking and he got so excited. I made the Enchilada's that we made that day. They turned out great!!!!! I made a dish of beef and a dish of chicken. Can you believe it Franks dad said he really liked it! We were all blown away. He wont tell you its good if he doesn't like it. What I mean by that is some people would say it was good even if it wasn't just to be nice cause the person went to so much trouble. Not his dad he will tell you what you could do to make it better, he had nothing to say. So dinner was a success!I'm so motivated to cook more! Thank you to Tammy for all your wonderful recipes!!! Thank you mom for my Longaberger apron its going to get a lot of use now!

It's been a long time!

I hadn't realized how long it has been since I have written anything. I have been crazy busy with life. My husband and I after a lot of prayer have decided that at the end of May he will quit Von's. It seems easy enough but when you really look deep into the situation its not as easy as it sounds. The Lord is really working on both of us to trust him completely. Right now he is only working 24 hours just enough hours to keep our benefits. He is also going to school full time and working at a hospital 2 days a week. He has no days off and its starting to show. In May he will be interning full time at the hospital for a whole year. Since it is an intern program they do not get paid for there work the program does give them a $300.00 stipin a month. He considered working at Von's Sat. and Sun. but that was never anything I agreed with. I now understand where he was coming from. He has never not had a job where he was being paid and he has been at Von's now for almost 10 years. He knows his job pretty well. Now he is going into a much more intense field a lot more demanding but at the same time way more rewarding in my eyes. The Lord has blessed him with a huge heart. I really believe that he (after his nerves settle down) will be a great example for the Lord. He has a gift to make people feel comfortable in times of stress and pain. I have always known it but I think he is now seeing it a little. When I had my spinal tap if that x-ray tech wasn't there to hold my hand and talk me through the procedure I probably would have knocked out the doctor who was sticking a very large needle into my spin telling me "don't worry its almost over." The hard part for him is that he has a wife and puppy to take care of and without his regular income that just wasn't OK to him. At the beginning of this semester he put me in charge of our finances. I wanted to show him that we would be OK. So I put together a presentation (it was like being in high school again) of monthly bills and stuff we could cut back on and so on. It was about a month later he came to me and we talked and he got a big smile on his face and said if I quit Von's I could go to family functions and we could do things together. I think he finally realized my point I was trying to make all along. Sat. and Sun. off for a whole year. Some people think I have made up a imaginary husband because they never get to see him. Everyone says "wheres frank?" and I always say "hes at work." We are very excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the next year. We both know it wont be easy but with the Lord on our side we know we can get through it!

We are a family!

Since I was at my moms on Valentines day this year we decided to celebrate the day of LOVE on Friday. I was so excited as Dash and I were driving home. I hadn't seen Frank for a little over a week and I had butterfly's in my tummy. I felt like i did when we were dating. So we had kinda talked about what we were going to do that day. Go out to lunch see a movie hand out and talk. When Dash and I got home we were greeted by my love and he helped me unpack the car, we put everything in the room on the bed. I like to unpack and get everything all situated but Frank said we had no time for that. When I turned around to put something on my dresser there were a dozen pink roses a box of candy(i am not going to eat that!) and a basket of lots of wonderful things! So I got my things together and started to walk out the door. Frank said aren't you missing something, I thought to myself for a second "nope" I said. Frank said "what about Dash." Now this day I was ready to spend with Frank but he had other plans I got all happy and said "what are we doing?" Frank said "you will see get dash and lets go." So we got in the car all 3 of us and proceeded on. I figured out we were going to Irvine park (that's our favorite park) we hadn't taken dash there yet. When we got out I took Dash for a short walk and Frank had a picnic all ready to go for the 3 of us. It was the best Valentines Day yet! We ate and talked about our week. Then we took dash over to the little lake and walked around it. We had so much fun!!! I think Frank is starting to think like a Daddy more. I love it I love it I love it!!!

Change is good!

I haven't had bangs since I was about 10. I hadn't even really been thinking about cutting my hair. When I got to my moms house I just thought I would call the place where she gets her hair done to see if I could get a trim. When I got there I told the hair stylist I want it to be a little darker than my natural color and I think I want bangs. She told me she thought I would look so cute. So I went for it. She colored it cut 2 inches off the back and then went for the bangs I got sick to my stomach as she was cutting because to me this was a big step. Well she showed me how to style it and all the different ways I could wear my hair. When I got home my mom and sister loved it! When my husband saw it he had a lot of nice things to say!!!! So this change is good get ride of the old and start something new that's how I look at it.

Two Cutties!

I was getting ready to print out all the pictures I am going to use for Dashes scrapbook and came across these two pictures! This picture was taken at Thanksgiving. They both had so much fun playing together. It was funny because I was so worried about Dash hurting or playing too ruff with my little Troy man. Ash was worried that Troy would be too ruff with Dash. These two guys are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!

Busy Busy Busy!

I haven't been on in soooooooo long! This are very busy!! Please pray for me I will find out what is going on next week with my Vertigo. Things were getting better and then I got a sinus infection. It almost took me back to the beginning. I now have a scar on my sinus cavity. I see my specialist on the 8Th and I will find out if I can be released back to work. Another thing I need prayer for. My boss has offered me a directorship and its really exciting cause that's what i went to school for. I just want to do what is best for my relationship with the Lord and whats best for my family. Thank you for all the support and prayers. I found out that my heart is great! My doctor said my echo gram and my ultra sound of my Cardin was beautiful. So he cant pin point why I passed out again. I am starting to feel a lot better!
