More Christmas pictures!

So I guess for those of you who don't know I have Vertigo. That's why" My world is spinning!" You would think Disney Land probably wouldn't have been the best place for me to go for Christmas, but that's where you are wrong. My husband Frank thought if he could just get me on the Tower of Terror this whole Vertigo thing would magically go away. That was the only ride I didn't go on, cause sorry but that logic is not working for me at all! So I did go on some rides got sick and dizzy and dizzy and sick, but these pictures your about to see well..... they speak for themselves. The first few are nice and we are all having fun and then something goes terrible wrong.

First let me explain for those of you who don't know at California Adventure they have a Ferris wheel. On this ride every other box moves. So there are ones that stay still and ones that don't. I love roller coasters and fast rides this Vertigo thing is really getting in the way! So I thought I soooo can handle this it will move about but not so much that I'm going to get sick or fell bad. So we all decided to go in a moving box. The guys went together and the girls went together too bad we didn't give the boys a camera because I have a feeling that there would be similar pictures to show you of the boys! In fact I can guarantee it because I heard my husband scream like a little girl. I have no room to talk (just remember I have Vertigo so that's a valid excuse) because here's what happened.
No you are not mistaken those are real tears. I had no idea that ride was going to bring me to tears. I lost it big time. There was only one point of the ride (we went around twice) I broke down and was screaming let me out. My mom, Aunt Mishel and sister were trying to talk me through the ride but it didn't work. That was the worst feeling ever!!! My mom put her feet up and closed her eyes it made it worse for me when I shut my eyes. I thought I was going to die. Not from the ride breaking and plunging our box into the water below us (that's what Frank was freaking out about) it was simply my body felt as if it was just going to shut down from too much movement and I couldn't control it. It took a while to feel like normal again (for me normal isn't even normal) but after I sat down for a while with my husbands arms wrapped around me things were going to be alright.

Christmas at Disney Land

This year we did Christmas a little different. We went to Disney Land and celebrated. We had a lot of fun! Its always fun when our family gets together and does things you never know whats going to happen. I will take you through some of the pictures I took and tell you the stories behind them.

Here Kyle is trying to behead my husband. I don't know why he
would want to do that but you know Kyle he has always wanted to be a pirate.

Here is mom and Aunt Mishel on the small world. This is one of Aunt Mishel's favorites rides at Disney Land!

My Aunt and I decided to change our hair styles. We were both sick of short hair so we decided to go long and curly. Aunt Mishel yours looks so much better than mine.

I will be posting more pictures as the days go by. My computer is acting up so that's all I can post for right now. I can't wait to share some more pictures.

The Happiest Place on Earth!

My friend Charity gave me two free tickets to Disney Land. The only problem was they had to be used within a three day period and then they would expire. So I called my sister up cause she really wanted to go for her birthday and asked her to come along. We did have a lot of fun. We only got to ride 4 rides cause my sister wanted to go on splash mountain and well we were soaked head to toe, but would you expect anything else sitting in the front. I hesitated at first to go on cause well that's not the best thing for Vertigo but I thought this will be a test run for Christmas day. To see what I could go on and what I cant. Well when the ride was over besides being cold and soaked I got a little sick. It didn't last as long as I thought it would. All in all it was a fun day to hang out with my sissy and be silly! Christmas day is going to be so much fun at Disney Land I can hardly wait!

My mom is crazy!

OK I totally forgot about this picture. My mom is so nuts it scary. There was this snake (the one in her hand) under her water dish outside. She didn't want it to go under the house so she decided to pick it up "with her bare hands" and move it. She said it was a "nice" snake it wont strike me unless it feels threatened. I don't know if she knew this or not but just about any time you pick up a snake by its tail its going to be a little upset. So this is a picture of the snake getting ready to strike. A couple seconds after this picture was taken, that snake felt very threatened and tried to eat my mom. She threw tried to fling the snake and back away. My sister ended up getting a rake and taking it far away from the house. It was a funny experience!!

Two buns in the oven.

Making my grandpa this scrapbook is so exciting for me. I get to see so many pictures I have never seen before. I had just finished my baby book when I came across this picture. In my previous blog I said that my uncle and I are only 6 days apart. Well here is my mom and my grandma pregnant at the same time. I'm in my mom's tummy and Travis is in grandma's tummy. This means I have to go in and change my scrapbook but it is so worth it to have this picture. Look at my mom, bean pole nothing but tummy. I hope to inherit that jean!

Missing my Daddy!

I have to admit when the holidays come around I get a little emotional. I know I know your saying to yourself "Tiffany emotional never." My dads birthday was on Christmas Eve , so Christmas is a little ruff for my family and I. I have been having dreams of my daddy a lot lately. I love when I see him in my dreams! We get to do things we can't do now. For some reason all I have to do is think about something a lot before I go to bed and I will dream it. This doesn't always work, but for the most part it does. I haven't shared this with my family yet cause it is still hard to talk about my dad. I think just this past thanksgiving my mom, brother, sister and I were able to tell stories to each other of things we remember when we were younger. It was very nice. My father has been in heaven for 6 years now. I think everyday without him is a challenge but with the Lords help each day we get stronger. Back to my dream. I have been looking at some pictures of when I was a lot younger, because I am making a scrapbook for my grandpa to give to my uncle. My grandma passed away March of this year. My uncle and I are 6 days apart so we did a lot together when we were younger. I came across this picture and held it in my hands and prayed "Lord I just wish I could have played in the snow with my daddy one last time." Well last night I did just that. I dreamt I was a little girl and I was playing in the snow with my daddy. Just before my stupid (sorry I am using that word) alarm went off my daddy put me on his lap and told me he had to go away for a while but he would see me real soon. When I woke up this morning talk about being emotional. Dash (my new puppy) probably thought "OK my moms crazy." I just wanted to share this dream. I love you so much daddy!!!!

Dash did so good a couple nights ago. I know that he was just doing it to make his mommy happy. I really couldn't believe he let me put this outfit on him and he sat under the tree. He is soooooooo cute!!! We are loving our new edition to the family. Even if we do get up every four hours to go potty.

Dash's first time at the park!

Today Frank and I took Dash to Huntington Beach park. He had a blast. As you can see so did Frank. It was like watching two little boys play together. It was so cute. Well at first Dash didn't know what to think about the ducks. He sat there for a couple minutes just looking at then trying to figure out what they were. A duck started walking toward us probably thinking we had bread (the McGuigan's usually bring the ducks bread this time we forgot cause we were too busy getting our puppy ready for his first time at the park.) Dash didn't know what was going on so he walked a little closer towards the suck as soon as Dash got too close to the duck it took off and so did Dash. He went running after all the ducks it was so funny. Not for the ducks but for us it was. We all had such a fun time today. It was nice to have a day with my husband to walk and talk through a park. Just a old married couple I guess walking holding hands through the park.

An update on scrapbooking.

I am so happy to say I have gotten 41 pages completed in 3 days. I was very surprised when I counted out the pages last night because I only worked on the book for 3-4 hours yesterday. I can't believe how many pages I have done. It has been a lot of fun to see where other people have been. Today feels like a good day to get a lot done. It has warmed up a little here but is still very windy! This week has just been the perfect weather for scrapbooking. The crazy thing is I have almost watched all the movies I have. I am about to move into the Disney movies. Frank bought me "Pretty Women" and "Sense and Sensibility". So now I have two more movies to watch. He's so thoughtful to notice I have almost watched all my movies. Well I better get to work.

Time to go to bed!

Well I guess its time to call it a night. I got a lot of scrapbooking done. Not as much as I wanted to but I did get pretty far. I had to take my car into have my oil changed and my breaks worked on. Frank and I also had to make a trip to Target. I got 10 pages done for me that's pretty good. So I think I'm going to tuck in my puppy and my husband say my prayers and count sheep. Hope everyone had a great day!

I just thought this picture was so cute and it went with the title. My boys are so cute!

It's raining its pooring!

Today is a perfect day to watch movies and scrapbook all day long. I started this morning at 8:00 a.m. I can't wait to see how far I can get. Right now I am in the process of putting together 3 scrapbooks for friends and family. I love scrapbooking so so so much. It's a great stress reliever for me. It's been a little bit of a challenge with my puppy Dash, but we are making it work. He just reminds me that I need to take breaks. Right now I'm working on a friends book so far its a lot of fun! My next book will be a challenge. I'm making a book for my Grandpa Gil to give to my Uncle Travis. It will be filled with lots of memories of his life. The hard part is his mom (my Grandma) passed away in March. I was very close to her so making the book will be hard. I have to remember though that she is with the Lord and to look at the pictures and remember all the great times we had together. Pray for my Uncle and Grandpa that they would lean on the Lord in difficult times. I feel comfort knowing that she loved us all and had a great life. You can tell by looking at all the pictures she was always smiling and having fun! So that is what my day will be all about scrapbooking.
